Prefiguration with yellow balloons

The prefiguration with balloons represents key elements of our structure. We could see how it could shape perceptions, and the way the body fits in the space, but also how our structure can fit in the land, which was responding to our project.
Each balloon reprensents a key part of the structure that enclose the hill, each of them is at 1.20 meter from the ground, hence following the topography of the hill. With balloons, we could verify that the balloon put on the highest place was Adrien’s height, which was the project, and confirmed that the right lenght was 1.20m.
He permits us to see that the body is really enclosed in the structure, whether standing or sitting in the hole. It was materializing, the « closed » space for the body, but not the door with the horizontal bar crossing the passage. The prefiguration for us was more to see how was the space we create by adding our structure to the hill, which is denser closed in our structure.
It made us change the project by removing one line of group of joints that were no longer on the hill, and that complicated the reading of the topography.
