We built a construct joining 3 axes heading in perpendicular directions, as in a xyz coordinate system. The joint had to be strong and compact, thats why we opted for four branches encercling the central, z axis.
A support, which would keep the joint’s z axis perfectly vertical when put on the ground, was also required. Referencing our previous site, we considered a horizonal groud, perhaps water on which we would try to make our composition float.

After designing a first version, we realized that the construct didn’t need as much supportive elements around the support and we simplified it.

While exploring the site, we revized our initial idea for the grounding of the axis. We found a way to position it in this tree. After a few arrangements, the branches embraced it perfectly in its vertical position.
